She is an American actress, model, and pop singer. Her mother Dina is a former Radio City "Rockette" while her father Michael was a long-time Wall Street trader.
She had played the twin sisters in the remake of The Parent Trap (1998), Jamie Lee Curtis' daughter in the remake of Freaky Friday (2003) and a wannabe popular girl in the sleeper hit, Mean Girls (2004), Herbie: Fully Loaded (2005), as well as Just My Luck (2006), I Know Who Killed Me (2007), and Georgia Rule (2007) and Labor Pains 2009. For the Freaky Friday soundtrack, she sang the closing theme, "Ultimate"; she also recorded four songs for the Confessions of a Teenage Drama Queen soundtrack.
