Hailee Steinfeld a local teen with grace, determination, and "True Grit"

Steinfeld began acting at the age of eight, eventually landing a number of supporting roles in teen-oriented films and television.

On January 25, 2011, Hailee was announced as an Oscar nominee for Best Supporting Actress at the 83rd Academy Awards for the role of Mattie Ross in "True Grit".
